John Chipperfield
40th Anniversary Celebration

A versatile ceramist, John Chipperfield uses a wide range of processes to form vessels including strongly asymmetrical jug forms and shallow dishes, all of which are vehicles for dramatic surface designs using coloured glazes. He is a founder member of the society and until recently an associate lecturer in Ceramic Design at Central St Martin’s College of Art & Design in London.

The Suffolk Craft Society celebrates its 40th Anniversary this summer. Work by other founder members and material will also be on display.
