External Projects

The Town Hall Galleries often organise temporary public art projects in Ipswich, in addition to the gallery exhibition programme.

A Wolsey Artwork for Ipswich

A £100,000 campaign is being launched to honour Ipswich's most famous son, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.
The public appeal, led by historian John Blatchly, will commission and construct an artwork in tribute to Henry VIII's great Lord Chancellor. This year is the 500th anniversary of Wolsey's rise to power.
