Braintree Art Trail
Artists with local connections are invited to submit proposals for new or existing works to be exhibited in the ‘Three Town Trail’. We welcome artwork in all mediums, from photography to sculpture, painting to textile and are particularly interested in work which responds to the urban landscape, celebrating the rich heritage of the built environment in this part of Essex. Call for artists in Ipswich
Key Arts, the artist run space in Ipswich, is programming St Mary at the Quay church near the waterfront during 2010 and they want to hear about your ideas to use the space for visual arts projects and exhibitions.
There are spaces in the programme from February - July 2010, for projects of between 1 day and 1 month in duration.

Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery calls for entries for Suffolk Showcase 2010
Entry forms for Suffolk Showcase, Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery’s open exhibition for artists and makers throughout Suffolk, are now available. This is an opportunity for all Suffolk-based artists, aged 16 years or over, to show their work to the public and compete for prestigious prizes. The exhibition will be held in the Gallery’s historic Market Cross building from Saturday 10 July to Saturday 28 August.

Empty Shop Revival Fund
In partnership, Ipswich Central and Ipswich Borough Council are looking for community focused arts projects that will enliven our town centre by making use of vacant shops.

UK Young Artists 2010 - Call for submissions going live soon

The first UK Young Artists event will take place in the Autumn of 2010. Artists who are selected to take part in this event could also be selected to represent the UK at the XV edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean.
Work should be new and can be from any art form including visual arts, performing arts, literature, applied arts, film and fashion. Artists must be between 18 and 30 and be a UK citizen or have been resident in the UK for at least one year.

Home Grown
A project intended to inspire, elevate, enhance and nurture groups that organise - or might wish to organise - arts events in their local community. There will be three special launch days for Home Grown, held in Coddenham, Newmarket and Ipswich, in January and February 2010. Each will feature showcase performances and advice sessions. Spaces are FREE, but booking is essential.

Artists' Residencies at Aberystwyth Arts Centre
