Collaborative Performance

noise=noise (a.k.a Ryan Jordan) present hac an evening concert of contemporary audio-visual computer performances which brings together local, national and international artists working in the intersection of technology, science and the arts. The concert features performances that utilize wearable computing, live coding, hacking, DIY electronics, and digital performance. The performances are multidisciplinary and innovative, searching for new ways of engaging the audience and artist through computer code, wearable technologies and homemade devices.

Through the course of the evening new computer programs will be written live in front of your eyes, codes will shift and morph, sounds and visuals will emerge and explode: human movements will make 3D worlds shift and stutter: hacked programs will shriek and spew out their internal circuits. The performances will span from sonic soundscapes, experimental noise and feedback loops to electronica and techno.

This event is also a networking opportunity for artists, programmers, scientists and anyone interested in the cross-disciplinary possibilities and development of computational arts.

Ryan Jordan is a computational artist working with wearable technologies and sound. He regularly performs and organises noise music events, such as noise=noise. He is a member of Openlab and is currently studying a Masters Degree in Computational Arts at Goldsmiths College where he is developing a wearable robotic costume for performance.
