Emma Buckmaster - Suffolk Craft Society new member

Emma Buckmaster studied printmaking at the Cambridge School of Art and specialised in etching for her MA. As well as joining the Suffolk Craft Society, she is also a member of Gainsborough’s House Printmakers and the Printmakers Council.

The subject matter of her work is the landscape that she encounters and the emotional response that it generates. Influenced by the early British landscape artists Emma Buckmaster has used the drama and the variety of her surroundings to illustrate emotions and events in her own life. Time and place are not important to her but she hopes to create a sense of nostalgia and memory revisited.
