Breaking Up documents the demolition of the Cranfield's Mill site on the Ipswich waterfront. As artist in residence with CDC Demolition Ltd, Dixon installed video cameras and sound recording equipment inside the demolition areas. Some of the cameras were destroyed along with the building, however through the process captured some extraordinary imagery. Dixon will be projecting some of this footage at the Church opposite as part of the public opening celebrations of the New Jerwood Dance House which now stands on the site of the Mill.
