THG 1.1 - First showing in THGs new project space

Andrew Vass’ work is generated in response to particular locations. The work is a convergence of something perceived and its independent materiality.

The property of paper, its luminosity, its standing as an equivalent of space is a constant factor in the work. The marks or traces are the units to build the images. These elements come and go, the structures evolve, the image is the place where something is settled.
