In conjunction with the Evening Star, the Town Hall Galleries offered an opportunity for all budding cartoonists and satirists to respond to current events and issues by drawing their own pictures. This ran at the same time as the Giles: Drawn to Suffolk exhibition in Gallery 1. Cartoonists were invited to submit their work for display in Gallery 1.1 and the best cartoons were published in the Evening Star. The winner was Kerina Strevens, whose work is shown on the left. |
